Two of Jenna’s shorts are finalists at New York Indie Shorts Awards
Two shorts penned by Jenna- Rubber Ducky and An Absurdist Screenplay About my Eating Disorder- are finalists in the Pitch the Audience category at New York Indie Short Awards. The winning filmmaker will receive funding to produce their short. Jenna is honored to be the only writer with two pitches featured in the final round.

The Sun is a Pretty Average Star — Now Streaming!
Jenna’s latest short film “The Sun is a Pretty Average Star” is now streaming! In this slice-of-life narrative short film, two friends spend a sunrise smoking a joint on the East river and questioning the purpose of life as tiny specks in an enormous universe.

Jenna wins the Silver Award for Best Actress at the Florence Film Awards for SPIN
Jenna took home a Silver Award for Best Actress at the Florence Film Awards this past weekend. Jenna is so grateful to be honored amongst the SPIN team- The short also took home Best Indie Short amongst 9 other wins.

SPIN wins 10 Awards, including Best Horror at New York Movie Awards
Horror short film SPIN won big at New York Movie Awards this past weekend. SPIN was originally developed for Two Roads Brewing Company as a showcase for their spooky pumpkin ale, ROADSMARY’s Baby. Jenna plays Amy, a spunky college student who leads the charge in breaking into an abandoned apartment on Halloween night.

SPIN Takes Second Place at Two Roads Horror Competition
Horror short SPIN took was the runner up for Best Film at Two Roads Horror Competition! Jenna plays Amy in the spooky film created for Two Roads Brewing Company. The team had a great time putting the project together, and sends their thanks to Two Roads for all their support!

SPIN Premieres at Two Roads Horror Short Competition
Jenna plays Amy in spooky Halloween short “Spin.” When three friends break break into an abandoned apartment, they must participate in a supernatural game of spin the bottle to decide who lives and who dies. The film was created for Two Roads Brewing Company, and was required to showcase their beer “Roadsmary’s Baby” amongst other props.

Cowboy Walks into a Bar Wins “Audience Choice” at the 48 Hour Film Project
Cowboy Walks into a Bar took home 6 nominations and 2 wins this week at the 48 Hour Film Project in New York City. In addition to Audience Favorite, the film won Best Use of the Prescribed Line, and was nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, plus Best Lead and Supporting Actor.

Cowboy Walks into a Bar Premieres at The 48 Hour Film Project
Jenna and production team The Seed Collective debuted their short “Cowboy Walks into A Bar” at Quad Cinema this week! The film was created as part of the 48 Hour Film Project, where teams conceptualize, write, film, and edit a short in 48 hours based on an assigned genre, line, character, and prop. This project was a delight to put together and the team loved seeing their work on the big screen!

Graybies Premieres at New Jersey WebFest
Coming of age dramedy “Graybies” debuted this week at New Jersey WebFest. Jenna plays Emma, a young woman who has a melt down after discovering her first gray hair.

Coming-of-age short “Graybies” received nominations for “Best Dramedy” and “Best On-Screen Chemistry” at New Jersey WebFest. Jenna is thrilled to be nominated with her costar Sophia Aranda, and they look forward to attending the festival!

“Spies Never Retire” is an Official Selection of LA Webfest 2023
Jenna’s new pilot “Spies Never Retire” is an official selection of the “granddaddy of all webfests”, Los Angeles Web Series Festival! She and the team have their fingers crossed for upcoming nomination announcements. The pilot is currently still in private screenings and on the festival circuit, but they’re looking forward to sharing it with the public soon!

Jenna Wraps on “My Own God”
This past week, Jenna wrapped principal photography on indie feature “My Own God".” Jenna plays protagonist Natalie Reynolds- A rule following teenager deciding if she wants to receive an abortion amidst the conflicting advice of her ex-boyfriend and Catholic high school guidance counselor.
Jenna is so proud of this project and what it stands for- reproductive rights for all. The film plans to make rounds on the festival circuit beginning in the summer.
